This property consists of undulating hills with a strong natural water source (fountain) that runs for most of the year. It is surrounded by the Outeniqua Mountains and the views are stunning. It lies in a very safe area.
The vegetation is typically fynbos with certain sections of good Karoo succulent. There are stands of Protea in certain sections of the veld
300 h of the farm used to be under wheat, but no sowing has been done in the past ten years.
The property served as a productive sheep farm and has 4 camps .A borehole supplies all the camps with stock water .The camps are enclosed in stock proof fencing and the boundaries are netted.
There is a huge new 16 by 19 m² corrugation and brick shed on the property with three phase ESCOM power. The borehole supplies about 18 000l of water per hour and it would be possible to irrigate approx 15h of lands under drip or pivot. The soil is typically sandstone and the quality of the water is very good. It has a slightly discernible iron taste.
