AGRICULTURAL POTENTIAL

The farm has the infrastructure for a small stock farm that can carry about 350/400 ewes and is equally suited to goats or sheep.

There are 10 camps each with its own water supply that comes from a very strong fountain that gravitates to all the water sources. There is only one windmill on the farm and the water is very fresh and not deep at all.

THE FYNBOS ECO-SYSTEM –25% of the farm

This area lies north of the road that leads through the farm and consists of heather-like vegetation and some grass species but is also interspersed with thick Karoo bushveldt that contains verdant Pruimboom, Boerboonboom, Gwarrie various Accacia species. Aloe Ferox grows verdantly in this area. There is also a POPLAR GROVE with a strong fountain in this section.

 KAROO SCRUB AREA.-75% of the farm

This area lies south of the farm road and contains good Karoo grazing. The farm has undulating hills and would be considered a well protected farm for small stock and game. It has large tracts of river frontage with Acacias trees. This veldt consists of pruimboon, gwarrie, Shepperds bush and many more Karoo species. There is great variety of Karoo bush, succulent and sweet grasses in this area.

INFRASTUCTURE

This farm is well developed and is divided into 10 camps. The fencing is in a fairly good condition.

THE HOMESTEAD

The homestead is a 3 bedroomed sturdy home with two bathrooms ,some yellowwood floors and a beautiful view with wide vistas. There is no ESCOM on the farm

There is an old sharing shed adequate for sharing or to serve as a garage.
