This farm lies in the semi arid Karoo basin rendering it a very healthy farm with no debilitating tick diseases.
The normal Karoo scrubland including species of Bees ganna, Bees brak,granaat, van Wyks bossie, Koggelmandervoet Karoo and several species of Hermania abound here. There are also several species of annual sweet grasses growing in the riverine areas.
