DESCRIPTION:

The property lies in the mountains, but has a very good mixture of undulating hill sides and open valleys. It is a particularly scenic farm and although it lies in the mountain the vegetation is still very sweet and consists of sweet Karoo veldt types, perennial grasses and a good supply of climax grasses including Rooi en Blou Buffels gras. The condition of the veldt is good and the property also boasts good spekboom/pruimboom kloofs, number of Accassia thickets and riverine areas.

The condition of the stock was good and it left a good impression of the farm’s carrying capacity.

IMPROVEMENTS:

The farm has been divided into 24 camps with 8 netted jackal proof blocks .

1 goat shed serves 4 camps.9 hectares of lands have been fenced and are fallow at the moment.A 90-100h ground dam could irrigate the lands successfully.

All the camps are very well watered and there are a number (19 ) cement water reservoirs and 3 fountains that keep the farm watered. The water is pumped from a central borehole with an electric mono pump. The quality of the water is good and has never shown signs of weakening, even in the most severe drought .
